Thermomodernisation works have reached halfway point

Since the first stage was completed a number of jobs have been conducted like heat insulation of the main building walls and wings on the ground, first floor and attic level. Flashings and drainpipes have been completed and almost all exterior window and door carpentry has been replaced and roof windows have been fitted.

The range of works at this stage included ventilation modernisation , among others fitting central ventilation, throttles, roof hoods and launchers. Works related to the fixture of gas boiler have been started and a considerable part of central heating installation has been completed.

On the roof of the main building 40 solar panels have been fixed, which will allow to cater for part of the hot water demand in the object.

The works are conducted within the framework of thermomodernisation of the building realized within the project framework of “Conversion, extension and development of social and administrative building and the way it is used to serve the needs of Social Welfare House (DPS)” subsidized by European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 resources within the framework of PL04 programme “Energy efficiency and promotion of renewable energy sources” The overall cost of the grant amounts to 1 027 057,60 PLN, of which 574 666,11 PLN has been invested so far.
