Thermomodernisation agreement signed

Dodano 08 stycznia 2015, wpis archiwalny Thermomodernisation agreement signed

On August 7th 2014 Jarocin District authorities signed an agreement on funding the project entitled “Thermomodernisation of the building realized within the framework of “Conversion, extension and development of social and administrative building and the way it is used to serve the needs of Social Welfare House (DPS)”. The funding comes from European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 resources and amounts to 80 % of eligible expenditure

Under the agreement the anticipated overall cost of the project is 2 056 030,00 PLN.
The funding total amounts to: 1 066 264,80 PLN.

The main objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency of the building and reduce the demand for electric energy and power needed to heat the building. Thermomodernisation of the building in Kotlin is necessary as the building, used since 1980, is energy low-efficient and does not meet most of the heat insulation requirements issued by the Infrastructure Minister in the Regulation of April 12 2002 concerning technical conditions that buildings and their locations must comply with. Its walls, made of slabs and cavity bricks, as well as the ceiling, lack heat insulation. Due to its condition the building has generated great heat and energy losses over the years.

Within the framework of this project the following modernization works will be conducted:
- heat insulation of 2 275,04 m² walls,
- heat insulation of 775,25 m² ceilings,
- heat insulation of 908,86 m² roof,
-replacement of 517,18 m² doors and windows,
- modernization of central heating installation including the boiler facility, comprising among others fitting 346 steel radiators with thermostatic valves as well as 3963 m of pipeline,
- replacement of the coal boiler with the gas one,
- modernization of water heating installation,
- fitting 40 solar panels
- installation of mechanical, air handling ventilation system.

The above mentioned modernization activities will result in the reduction of energy losses,
due, among others, to draughty walls, doors, ceilings and windows. Thanks to modernization
the efficiency of heating network and heat source will significantly increase.

“Thermomodernisation of the building realized within the project framework of “ Conversion, extension and development of social and administrative building and the way it is used to serve the needs of Social Welfare House (DPS)”.
